Buck glanced at his phone as the TikTok autoplayed into a new video. It was one of those Minecraft parkour clips with a voiceover—the kind where someone talked about family drama or secret relatives while hopping over lava blocks.
“Both him and my possible real biological dad sat me down and I just need to get this out of my chest. They don’t know if my mom knew, we can’t ask her either, but they suggested we do a DNA test and I agreed. I didn’t ask many questions, they told me something about blood types incompatibility but it’s late, and I’m tired, so I didn’t dig further.”
His stomach twisted.
Okay…
That was… very specific.
His grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles went pale, and then he slowly, almost reverently, set it back against the napkin holder like it might break if he held on any tighter.
The edges of his thoughts curled in like burning paper.
No way.
It couldn’t be.

The day after Bobby’s funeral, Chimney goes back to work.
They all think he should have taken more time. But Chimney’s got a theory about time: it’s not linear anymore. It’s sticky. Slippery. Weird. Ever since the lab, since the cure, since Bobby’s hand closed over his in that freezing corridor and let go—time’s been off.

Summary
Chris gets himself a part time job in a bakery.
It’s not something they need because they are having problems with money or anything but because Chris wanted to.
The bakery is one close to their house, it’s a small family run business. The owner, his wife and their daughter. Everything started because she was about to start college after her sabbatical year that extended to almost 3 already, but she didn’t want to leave her parents on their own without finding a replacement first.The problem started more with the fact that the little friendly family has this investigation going about which one of the men that accompanied him and sometimes picked him up was the biological one.

“What’s that you’re humming?” Buck’s voice drifted in from the hallway, where he had been straightening a pile of jackets that always seemed to accumulate on the banister. He appeared in the kitchen doorway, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.
Eddie glanced over his shoulder, the sunlight catching the flecks of gold in his brown eyes. “Just some children's song my abuela used to sing when we cleaned the house. Keeps me focused.” He shrugged lightly, though the soft smile he gave Buck said it meant more than that.
“Hmm, sounds nice,” Buck said, crossing the room to grab a dish towel. Without needing to ask, he began drying the dishes Eddie passed his way, their movements seamlessly in sync. The quiet choreography of familiarity.
Eddie laughed, shaking his head. “You wouldn’t say that if you knew the lyrics.”
Buck’s eyes lit up. “Wait, there are lyrics? Sing it for me!”

Summary
Here we follow the rule "If I didn't read it, it didn't happen" where you can just ignore some one shots full of angst and pretend our little characters in the main story are doing fine and chilling OR you can make them go through the other things.
Your mind creates the cannon, if it does not enter into it for not reading it, then it is not cannon, so you can create your own reality of the facts than are proposed to you.
Fair warning, once you read it, it already happen, it's cannon now, you cannot undue what you did and what happened to them (It won't be your fault tho, it's like you can choose if you want them to live their destiny or pause their time for it to never happen).

Summary
The AU where Bobby adopted Evan when he was six years old, and then twenty years later Eddie joins the 118 and starts dating Buck... and no one initially realises that Evan and Buck are, in fact, the same person. Part 1 is the story of the identity shenanigans and the reveal.
Part 3 is a collection of missing scenes from the original story, while Parts 4 ('how it could have gone') and 5 ('another way it could have gone') are outtakes and depict two different scenarios where the reveal of Buck and Evan being the same person go a different way.
Part 2 'oh captain my captain' is a prequel and shows the 118 meeting Bobby and then later on Evan.
Part 6 'these are the days we've been waiting for' is the story of Buck's first day at the 118.
Part 7 'may you live in interesting times' is a sequel to that takes place about a year or so later, and Part 8 'I once was lost (but now I'm found)' directly follows on and is a full-length sequel and prequel to the main story.
This series as it is now is standalone and can be considered complete. The only reason I haven't marked it as such is because I do expect to be adding additional installments at some point in the future. Happy reading!
