    “Yeah, you better sleep well,” he mumbles. “When you wake up, all your possessions will be gone,” he adds jokingly.

    Techno doesn't move a muscle, maybe it's because he had fallen straight into the chasmic cracks of sleep, or maybe it's because he knows Tommy won't be leaving this room until Phil comes back anyway.

    The boy would be lowered into his grave before Philza Minecraft witnesses him become attached to his older brother like a needy kid. Again.

    “Tommy? What’re you doin up at…” He glanced at his laptop screen, shining brightly in the dark room, squinting to make out the time. “3.45am? Theseus?” He looked worriedly down at his 12-year-old brother. Techno was definitely not the best person to deal with this. Crying had never been his forte, it had always been more Phil’s thing, or even Wilbur’s.
    He really should not be doing this at 3.45am on a school night, or at all, as he was only a year older than Tommy himself. This should be Phil, hugging Tommy and wishing him goodnight, wiping tears from his eyes as Techno slept peacefully just down the hall. But evidently Phil had failed in that aspect of parenting as well.

    (set in the same universe as "only thing we share (is one last name)", and is a prequel-ish. Might make more sense if you read the other in the series, but not required.)

    Tommy slowly turns his head around, his eyes not leaving the screen until it was fully out of his peripheral vision. He blinks at his older brother and his lips part, but not a single, pitiful sound comes out.

    Techno can't help but snort, and maybe force the television screen to fade away in the background where he cannot see it. “You must be liking it, huh?” he teases.

    Tommy stares at him, his eyes seem to be almost begging. “Can you watch it with me? Please? Pleaseee?”
